Place Leaders Asia Pacific is inviting you to submit an abstract for the 2017 Place Leaders Asia Pacific Conference.
The Place Leaders Asia Pacific conference is a global platform bringing together leading voices, makers, shapers, activators and visionaries from across the Asia Pacific to share, provoke, challenge, discover and experience the biggest trends and ideas creating the future of our Places.
The Asia Pacific region is alive with innovative processes and places ranging from remote communities to compact corners within our cities. We are looking for Big Ideas that respond to Global Trends affecting places at local levels; ideas that deliver fresh insights and new foresights into the unique character, value and leadership initiatives of the region.
The Big Ideas in Place Conference seeks content and ideas that will inspire, delight and surprise all who attend. We are interested in hearing your pitch for the following formats:

Suggested Directions: Identity of Place in Rapid Transformation; New Technology, Digital Tribes and Place Attachment; Public Art, Storytelling and Place Authenticity; Generational and Technological Trends that are Transforming Places, such as Driverless Cars, Digital Nomads, Drone Service Delivery, a Sharing Economy, Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality.

Place Engagement and Management
Suggested Directions: Civic Engagement; Co-creation; Community Ownership; Place Activation; Place Governance; Short and Long Term Management Strategies; Creative Partnerships and Collaborations; New Investment and Funding Models; Innovation in Policy and the Public Sector; The Culture, Dynamics, Roles and Behaviours of Place Leaders.

Measuring The Value of Place
Suggested Directions: Place Measurement; Quantifying and Qualifying Place Qualities and Attributes; the Impact of Social and Civic Assets on Economic Gain.
